Buffalo businessman and 2010 gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino announced today his endorsement for Karen Bisso for the New York State Assembly, 115th district. Carl joins the growing list of supporters who believe that Karen’s call for fiscal responsibility and limited government is just the message Albany needs to hear.

Karen is an educator and small businesswoman. As a Special Education teacher in the Plattsburgh public schools, Karen has 26 years of experience helping local children and their families. She’s watched as mandates from Albany and Washington have made teaching ever more difficult, increasing the cost and decreasing the quality of education.

“As a small businesswoman, she understands the costs and burdens that Albany’s endless regulations have imposed on small businesses.” Paladino said. “She knows the impact that excessive taxes and regulation have had on the local economy, and on the lives of the people in her community. She’s seen families struggle to maintain their quality of life as liberal legislators pass laws without regard to the impact they have on North Country citizens.”

Karen’s unique experience, in both the public and private sectors, serving so many families, children, and students, has given her a special appreciation for the harm done by New York’s out-of-control government. Whether she’s speaking to parents, farmers, ATV enthusiasts, hunters, or business leaders, the message is the same: we want fewer regulations from Albany, fiscally sound government, and lower taxes. Karen will take that message to Albany, and will work tirelessly to make sure it’s heard.

Karen is a conservative in the truest sense. Her strong leadership and powerful convictions will make her an effective representative for the North Country and all New Yorkers, and a loud, clear voice for less bureaucracy, less regulation, limited government, fiscal responsibility, integrity, and ethics in Albany.

Karen is fighting to win the Republican nomination against a long-time incumbent. You can help Karen take the limited-government, fiscal-responsibility message to Albany by volunteering, contributing, and speaking out in support.
